The GradStudio Project used online peer evaluation to give participants quick feedback
for improving their graduate application essays. The project ran from November 1st to December 1st, 2014.
GradStudio participants were
applicants working on statements of purpose or research statements (what is a research statement?)
for graduate programs. Over the course of the month, participants went
through at least two rounds of feedback and revision of their essays.
We published a works-in-progress paper and presented a poster on our findings from the project at the
ACM Conference on Learning at Scale in Vancouver, in March 2015.
